Eurynome Journeys

Eurynome Journeys is an alternative to "package group tours" for the independent female traveler who would prefer not to travel alone. Traveling solo can be stressful, not only because of safety concerns, but also because of the small things (i.e. not having anyone to keep an eye on your bags while visiting the ladies room). Our travel groups are designed to alleviate the stresses of traveling alone, yet by keeping the group size at nine to thirteen we are able to stay at small quaint local hotels.

The pace is leisurely with ample time to relax or for exploring the uniqueness of each destination. Our travel groups are NOT motor coach tours, although occasionally we use minibuses for locally guided tours that are included in the itineraries. In addition to included sightseeing extra tours can be arranged locally. A knowledgeable group organizer will accompany each group to ensure you a stress-free vacation. Whether you are a first time traveler or a seasoned veteran we invite you to join one of our travel adventures. Eurynome Journeys are not only for the soloist, so bring along a friend, mother, daughter or sister if you like.

Erja Lipponen: My passion for travel, history, mythology and archaeology has taken me throughout Europe, southeast Asia, the south Pacific islands, Australia, and New Zealand. At Leisure Markets I specialize in planning customized foreign travel itineraries for individuals and small groups. Thanks to the Internet I am able to do much of my work on my laptop from my residence in Maine, with scheduled visits to our office in Connecticut (and to think I used to dislike computers!).
